Desktop & Android
Ail, in its own window.
Same platform, same account, same Sparks — just without a browser tab. Pick your download below.
Windows
.exe · Windows 10/11
SmartScreen will say “Windows protected your PC.” Expected for a new app — not a sign anything's wrong.
- 1.Open the downloaded file.
- 2.Click “More info.”
- 3.Click “Run anyway.”
Mac
.dmg · macOS 12+
Gatekeeper will refuse to open it the first time (“Apple could not verify...”). Expected, not broken.
- 1.Open the .dmg, drag Ail into Applications.
- 2.Right-click (or Control-click) Ail in Applications.
- 3.Click “Open,” then “Open” again in the dialog.
Android
.apk · Android 7+
Android will block it with “For your security…” since it's installed outside the Play Store — expected, not a threat.
- 1.Open the downloaded .apk.
- 2.Tap “Settings” in the warning prompt.
- 3.Allow “Install unknown apps” for your browser or file manager, then go back and tap Install.
iPhone & iPad
We don't have native iPhone and iPad app yet. In the meantime, add Ail to your Home Screen from Safari for the same app-like, full-screen experience:
- 1.Open ailighthouse.in in Safari (the steps below are for Safari — other browsers may have a similar option under a different menu).
- 2.Tap the Share icon (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
- 3.Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
- 4.Tap “Add” in the top right.
